Frankenstein Family

These small works (A6 size) are based upon 'found photos'.. That is, photographs that have at some point been discarded, were found (in garage sales or house lots) then uploaded onto the internet for a new life. The people and the context are unknown, the attributes of old photography is a misleading authority of actuality and each work contains a creature, featured in movies or literature, that expands and informs a subconscious rereading of the content, a malicious reinterpretation of a history lost to us.
